It IS 2018, so we're not in the fields picking fruit or barely starting out to the point where nobody knows what is going on. I worked for that employer for two days, gave a proper two weeks' notice at the former employer of a couple of years and have a solid work history. Nothing to do with being a troublemaker and everything to do with calling down something when I see it happening.
Have a nice day.

There sure as hell are people in the orchards and fields picking fruit. I drive past them daily now that harvest season is upon us.

The racism in this OP is rampant. What, because someone is "hispanic", they're not American? Well, I guess I have a lot of relatives to explain that to!

What a piece of garbage this OP is.

I received an email from the plant manager stating that he wanted to apologize on behalf of the company and that it is not their intention to put employees into a tough situation on their first day on the job. He acknowledged the issue with the supervisor, the lack of training, absence of management and stated that they are taking the issues seriously and having discussions on what they can do to prevent that in the future. I don't care, either way. Found a job that pays another half as much without the hostility, with English-speaking people and plenty of training. Their loss. It did not poison anything and my experience was well-accepted by the new employer. Interesting name-calling. Still in Kindergarten? And after you reported this to HR, what happened?
An apology from the HR manager eventually and they ended up having to find another employee willing to put up with the nonsense. That happens a lot there, which is why they have so many "job fairs" because everyone walks out on them due to lack of training. Seems that they run through a lot of them. Found another job that was much better, way better pay and continued on. They'll be shut down by OSHA eventually.
