What is the name of your state?
TEXAS.
When my "ex" decided she wanted a divorce, I found her in singles web-sites. I created my own "character" where we began exchanging e-mails and having chat sessions. During these sessions, she lied continously about me (naturally) and performed sexually explicit acts on-line.

My question is....can I provide copies of her e-mails and screenprints of the chat-sessions to friends, neighbors, church, workplace, etc., without being charged for crimes? I would love to expose her to everyone for who and what she really is rather than the image she protrays to everyone, but I do not want to risk legal ramifications by doing so.

Also, could I possibly sue her for the lies she was spreading about me on-line? During all the e-mails and chat-sessions she never attempted to conceal her true name. She did not know it was me she was talking to. We are the only two people with that name in this area of Houston so if she was doing the same with others, they also have my name. She even went as far as sending "love letters" from me to her on-line lovers (this was in two separate sites) when they insisted she was not as nice as she claimed and that many of her "stories" were blatant lies.

What legal grounds do I have if any?

Thanks,
Livid in League City, Texas.
