If I refuse to take my daughter to a school sport function on my visitation, I understand that my ex cannot refuse my next visitation without being in contempt, but when I go into court for custody is that something that would go against me or make me look bad as a parent and hurt my case? Also is it
the norm when an ex has remarried for the step-parent to do the decision making based on what they're 2 children from 2 previous marriages are doing?
Also what about my ex and his wife grounding my daughter and that her talking to me on the phone or having any contact with me other than visitation is a privilege? I thought having a relationship with a parent at any time was a right! Isn't that the whole reason for the family courts, keeping the family a family?
