my boyfriend has an ex wife who works for a dentist in ky. He pays over $700 a month for maintenance and child support for 1 child. He told her she needed to help pay taxes on their house she just sold to him. She exploded saying he needed to help even more with their son and he should be thankful that for the past year, her employer had written off all their sons dental work not covered by insurance. Well, 1 week after this arguement, she sent him a bill for the entire year for $500 + and said it was due now. He's extremely upset and neither one of us can believe the dentist would be a part in her vengence. This doesn't sound ethically, morally, or legally right. Would a reputable Dentist behave in this lowly manner? Is he legally bound to pay even though he never received a bill for the entire year? Should he call or write the dentist and get his response?
