What is the name of your state? CA...I just bought a 1988 chevy cargo astro van. I was sold on it only becuase it had 41,000 miles. just a few days later I did a carfax on it and found out that it has 140,000 miles....what can I do or should do

Looks like you should have looked at Carfax before, not after the purchase.

If you can prove the seller knew there were more miles than this on the vehicle, and yet still signed the odometer disclosure statement saying it had 41k, then the purchase is not valid and the seller owes you your money back.

Otherwise you're stuck with the car. So do you have any proof?
