Hello, hope your day is going well! I own a business and moved in to the commercial space 04/2019. The address on the lease is not valid. Brought this to the landlords representatives and they said they would handle it. Emailed a few times letting them know what the post office person said and that we need this corrected because we rely on insurance checks to come in. We were visited again by the post master on 10/9/2020 letting us know that the address is invalid and that they will be returning mail to the sender. All of our information has the current address ie insurance, business cards, google etc. should the landlord be paying for all this stuff to be changed? It will take a lot of time and mental stress to make sure the address is a verified address and change everything to what ever address that is given to us.

We entered a lease with a certain address. USPS says it is not a valid address in their system. The can not deliver mail to an address that does not exist. When the landlord developed the property, he/she was supposed to go to city hall and enter a range of addresses that the “May use.” This was not done by the landlord.

What address was used? Is it just a typo on the lease?
