What is the name of your state? Oregon
I received a $257 ticket for an incorrect turn yesterday at 11:15 AM. The officer marked the ticket as 11:15 PM. I have a clean record and am a senior, so ordinarily I would just pay. However, I met this officer 2 weeks earlier when I called for help with a neighborhood squabble, and he doesn't like me. He was "too happy" to stop me. Does this 12 hour difference matter, since I have alibis for 11:15 PM? Thanks

Unless the punishment for the offense is more severe because it took place at night instead of during the day, then this mistake has nothing to do with your guilt or innocence; neither does the fact that the cop was happy to give you the ticket help you.
