Wrongful defamation of character resulting in loss of business

There is a person whom had been slandering my character for the past 10 months. She is a bartendar and although I have not talked to this person (only twice in the past year) has resently now 86ed me from the establishment in front of my friends and now noone with due business with me.

I was starting a portable spray on tanning business but now not one of the customers that wanted my service will talk with me. As a matter of fact, she has sperad her slandar to other establishments and I and unable to be business in the area. My 3 thousand dollar investment is worthless as the tanning solution has now become inert.

Do I have any legal say here to get her and the establishment to at least stop slandering my name.
