What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? New Hampshire
I had been working for a company since December 06. I've usually been in the top 10 salespeople in the district. In January 09 a new district manager was hired. He'll be the first to admit I do a good job but for some reason he didn't like me. In August he informed me that if I wanted to stay with the company full time I would have to commute to a store that was 1-2 hours away from my home when my commute at the time was 20 minutes. The reason they gave was that there were 2 full time people in that store and the company wanted only one. I asked why the other guy (who I hired) didn't have to go and their response was he doesn't have a car you do? Is that my problem? I really needed the job so I went to the other store. I was becoming really stressed out and had to take vacation days once or twice a month. The final straw was when they started scheduling me an 11hr day once a week when there was no reason for it. With my commute that was a 13hr day. I got a letter from my therapist stating I could only work 8 hours per day. They ignored it so I had to quit
