x filed a restraining order but continuelly harrasses

I am unsure as to if I am putting this in the right forum or not. Please move to the apropriate one if needed.

Okay my SO ex-wife filed a temporary restraining order on my SO for harrassment. In order to get an emergency hearing and recieve temporary full custody with him having visitation and him having to pay child support weekly. Where as before it was joint custody and they were both responsible for the children when they had them.X wanted money and he would not give it to her, so she pulled this. But on to my question.

X filed a temporary restraining order and it was granted. If so much as argues back with X on the phone x can complain and he will be taken to jail. X uses this to her advantages, name calling, threatning my SO, basically uses it as a free pass to Harrass my SO and he cannot respond back. X repeatly does not meet SO when the kids are supposed to see my SO. IS there anything we can do about X harrsing my SO . I mean why and how can someone file a restraining order on someone they are "afraid of and continually harrass the person that the restraining order is agianist. HELP ME please!

tell you boyfriend to only communicate with his ex in writing

if there is a court order outlining his parenting time and she is violating that, he needs to collect the proof he has of the violations and file for contempt

he might also want to file for a modification of the restraining order that specifically orders BOTH of them to communicate ONLY via email, and only on issues pertaining to the health, welfare and well being of the children.

Wow! I would have never thought of that thank you so much. had no idea that was even an option. How would I go about filing for a modification of the restraing order?
