i purchased a car (financed it anyway) we were told that the car was a 2000 we signed the contract based on that fact. we went to trade this unit in and was told according to the vin# this was a 99 and the resale vaule was 7000 and we were pretty much over charged for this unit... can we get out of this contract.

was the year 2000 mentioned anywhere on your sales contract?

then you can sue the seller for missreprentation.

But as I suspect the sales reciept says you purchased a ________car but the year was not listed...then you are SOL!
