The company I work for XXX office cleaning in X California refuses to pay its employees for the full amount of hours they are working they pick a specific amount of hours per account cleaned and that is all they will pay you for even after verifying you have worked several more hours than they are paying wages for. Is this legal? I finally got fed up and put in my two weeks notice so now they have taken almost all my hours for my remaining two weeks.

Does the amount that you receive come to at least state minimum wage times hours worked?

Are you perhaps treated as independent contractor with a give payment per assignment ?
