Oh well, my neighbor actually sued me. I got served this morning.
It will be a remote hearing at Orange county, CA court.

1. She got the month wrong(it happened in Nov. 1st, 2020, she wrote October 2020)
2. She included court filing fee for the claim amount even though the form specifically says not to include court costs/fees .

Can these be reasons for dismissal?

also,
Does anybody know how to submit document evidence to a remote hearing?

You can use the links previously provided to help you gather what you’ll want for the hearing.

It is too bad that your neighbor decided to sue. I think you might benefit from having the landscaper as a witness. Make sure you know what he plans to say first, though.

Good luck.
