Is there a deadline for filing a police report?

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? KY

An incident took place two months ago and I want to know if it is too late to file a police report?

Also, if someone who is harassing me is bugging my work place and my employer makes a police report about it, can I use his report during a court case in the future when I decide to prosecute? Or do I need to file one too (Even though I wasn't present when the incident took place -- but the harasser was trying to find out info about me at my job?)
