What is the name of your state? CA., Los Angeles

My father was in a nursing home facility since we couldn't care for him after is brain tumor removal. He isn't 100% their. Well, he thinks he can walk but he can't. After the 5th fall, in which he fell flat on his face/head and suffered a broken nose, we decided to get him out of their. He is now in an RCFE.

Do we have any recourse against the nursing home facility? It has been a little over a year? Do you know any lawyer who will take this case?

I've had another nursing home administrator review his documents from the nursing home and it looks like they didn't do enough to prevent his falls.

thanks,
Joseph

Do you have evidence that the nursing home was negligent in any way? Just because he fell does not mean they were negligent. It is impossible to watch patients 24/7. Would you have preferred they restrained him constantly?

Also, the damages you could recover even if negligence could be proven would be minimal. The best you could hope for, IF you could prove negligence, is the related treatment for his broken nose be covered by the facility.
