I am in the process of a divorce in TN. My lawyer has been trying to contact my husbands lawyer to set a trial date and my husbands lawyer won't return calls. His lawyer says there is a 90 day waiting period after filing. My lawyer says that the waiting period only applies to divorces on the grounds of irreconcilable differences. We are filing on grounds of inappropriate marrital conduct.
Who's right? I'd like to know that my lawyer is the one more on the ball.
