I research tools, and often borrow items from their owners, in order to get measurements, photos, etc. The results go into my website, articles, etc. It's a non-profit activity.
One person wants me to provide a form before he will lend me an item. It should cover:
1) who pays for shipping, insurance;
2) that I will use his item for research, not for profit;
3) that I will take good care of his item;
4) that I will return it promptly,
and so on.
Is there a standard form where I can "fill in the blanks"?
What are the possible consequences of writing my own form in plain english?
