What is the name of your state? GA/NC
Hello!
The father in this case passed away recently. He'd had custody of his child, who was returned to the mother in NC. The mother recently married (the parents of the child were never married) and now the step-father wants to adopt the child.
Is there a way for the estate of the deceased father to contest the adoption? (the paternal grandparents, administrator, guardian ad litem etc are all based in GA).
Thank you for your time and advice
