I was 18 when I received a cite for driving at a speed that was greater than reasonable or prudent somewhere around Flagstaff.

I asked the officer what that meant, because I was still just a snot-nosed kid that didn't have any sense.

He asked me, "Were you sleeping while you were driving?" I said, "yes". He said my reasonable and prudent speed at that time would have been 0 mph. I figured it out then.
