II was arrested for a dui, and am also being charged for assaulting a police officer. I live in Pennsylvani. This is my 2nd dui. I became emotionally distraught after being handcuffed, and fell to the ground. The officers lifted me off the ground by my arms (which were handcuffed together)causing an injury to my shoulder. It is at that time that I kicked the officer in front of me. I am not a violent person, and I have no prior record except the other dui. What sort of punishment am I looking at(jail time). I would specifically like to know the punishment for assaulting a police officer.
