At what point can I legally change the locks?

I live in Minnesota and I'm wondering if I can assume me tenant/roommate is officially moved out so I can change the locks. I own my home and I have a "friend" who stays with me. She doesn't pay rent and there is no lease. I gave her 60 days notice but she still didn't move out. She recently started moving her stuff out and only has about 25% of it left here. She has been staying with another friend for the past 2 weeks (she hasn't spent the night here in two weeks). Can I store the rest of her stuff in storage and change the locks? She has made it pretty clear she is moved out. I don't want to have to go to court to evict her. I just don't want her to come back at me and say "I didn't move out. You shouldn't have changed the locks." Thanks for your help:)

How has she made it clear she has moved out ?

I would say get it in writing .

Otherwise , it's only been two weeks and unless she removes her remaining belongings , wait another two weeks.

Plus what belongings are still there ?

What belongings did she remove ?

You can change the locks any time you wish.

You just need to give your fellow roommate/tenant a copy of her key if you do so.

Since you have nothing is writing regarding her agreement that she has moved out (and you haven't gone through the eviction process), you still have a tenant/roommate.
