What is the name of your state? Oregon

Do any states have a law that banks must make it perfectly clear on the signature card that survivor will collect what is in the account when one of the co-signees dies? This is very serious because it can be used in estate planning OR it can be misused (not knowing consequences) by an older person who just wanted someone on the account to help with their banking, not realizing that the account will bypass the estate and go to co-signee.
