What is the name of your state? New Jersey . Please help. My wife wants to buy a condo, howhever I have a lot of unpaid bills and debt collectors on my back( credit cards ). My question is : If the condo is in her name ONLY, can the collection agencies still go after the property? She ll be paying cash, so there will be no mortgage and i wouldnt be listed as part-owner.
