CitiiBank is suing me for a debt I settled with a collection agency, 3 years ago.

The last time I paid the collection agency was the end of February 2007. CitiBank filed suit, April 2010. So for affirmative defenses I am including Statute of Limitations.

As for the counterclaim, I am saying that since CitiBank continues to report my CitiCard account as past due; I am alleging that they have reported the credit history inaccurately.

See, this is what I found: The book "Good Credit is sexy" says can sue
creditors if they report your credit history inaccurately. Because it is
Defamation and financial injury. Precedent: US Court of appeals, Ninth
Circuit, No. 00-15946, Nelson Vs. Chase Manhattan. Fine is the extent of
damages incurred by the wronged party as deemed by the courts.

Do I have a case for the CounterClaim?
