This is the price we pay to live in this society.

Buenos Aires is nice this time of year. You should go. They have those pesky taxes also; but, I'm sure you'll get by. (Personal note to any of my fellow board members who have spent much time in Argentina - let the OP learn about taxation in other countries.)

That's why I mentioned Andorra in my previous post. They have no personal income taxes.
