Can You Be "Double Ticketed"

Curious on one subject.

If you receive a parking ticket for parking a vehicle on a public road with expired tabs ($30 fine) how quickly after can you be issued for it again?

Is there a certain window for correcting the issue. I'm not saying I didn't do it...I'm simply saying I wont have the funds until tomorrow.

I ask because I received my car from storage and mistakenly parked it outside and got a $30 ticket for tabs, however I plan to renew them tomorrow since this has been brought to my attention.
