why would that make a difference? If restitution was ordered within the prosecution of the ticket (whether it be criminal or an infraction) if that order was not complied with the OP could be charged with contempt and jailed could they not?
They could, but where I was going with this was if it was a criminal offense that could lead to additional penalties, such as probation, etc
