What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Michigan

I am being charged with Domestic Assault on my girlfriend (ex) and believe that it will be dismissed before going to trial. My question is this, if it is dismissed or goes to trial and I am found not guilty by the jury, can I sue the alleged victim thru civil (small claims) to recoup some of the cost I have incurred due to her making this false allegation against me?

I suppose there is always that possibility. Her assertions are just so absurd that I am having a hard time believing a jury would render a guilty verdict. She has also lied in the police report which I can prove. What are your thoughts on a civil case? Is that a reasonable thing to pursue considering all the trouble and expense she has cost me...
