What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Michigan

The school nurse and myself turned my ex-husband in to CPS for leaving scrapes and bruises on my 5 yr old son. Long story short - he threw my son on his couch which has metal on it when he was mad at him for wrestling in the living room & it scraped and bruised his back pretty good. CPS has interviewed all my kids as well as myself and my current husband. My question is - what happens next & if they find it to be a valid abuse case what consequences could my ex-husband incurr?

Look for both you and your ex to be pulled into juvenile court with a CPS case and to be given a case plan. But it may not be considered abuse. Are you looking for a dozen ways to hang your ex? Because it sure is seeming that way with your child support thread regarding fraud because he is paying his girlfriend support.

It is beginning to seem like you want to push him out of the way.
