5 year old came home with abrasions to his forehead and between his eyes. Both kids told us that their father's live-in sister (30 years old) THREW him into her mother's truck. He landed on the floor, on his head. Both stated she was mad at him for being goofy and that is why she threw him into the pickup. Grandmother said nothing, but was in the drivers seat during this. I was never told about it; not even a bogus "it was an accident" story. Nothing. It has been reported both to police and CPS. On top of that, they have records of me telling them about similar issues periodically over the last few years.
Case worker from CPS told me that my ex has not returned her calls in the last few weeks despite leaving messages. According to them, this can be seen as evidence of what I had already said about him not wanting to get help for the boy because all she was asking was him in the voicemails was to call back to consent to treatment.
He sent a text to me following one I sent him about the same boy getting in trouble for swinging his coat in class and talking. Other than that he has been behaving better in the last few weeks. His response to her note was: "Im starting to think maybe we should see about getting him a different teacher". The teacher has been teaching elementary kids, including special needs, for longer than we've both been alive and comes highly recommended.. and how is it that the teacher is at fault for a kid behaving badly not only in class, but at recess under the watch of other aides and teachers?
