What is the name of your state? CA

I received 2 citations for driving my Commercial Vehicle off the road in a national preserve. Both citations state "Mandatory appearance required" and no fine is listed. Can I hire a lawyer to appear in my place due to the court is over 200 miles from where I live?

Thank you

My response:

No. "Both citations state "Mandatory appearance required". You can certainly appear WITH an attorney if you want, but regardless, you SHALL appear yourself.

My response:

Wear a bow tie. Judges always chuckle when people wear a bow tie. He might just let you off without a fine!
