So does that mean if you get sick and tired of your adult child mooching off of you, you have to have him legally evicted?

Also, does this apply to anyone who is living with you?

Just curious!
Yes if the person doesn't move out on their own. Exception may be domestic violence.

Technically yes, it does mean that. However, if you tell him/her to move out, and they do, then they are voluntarily vacating the premises.

The first step in any eviction is to ask the party to leave the premises. The other steps are not needed if they comply.

Right and if Dad DOES lock Kiddo out and Kiddo CHOOSES to go stay somewhere else rather than calling a locksmith or breaking a window to get in, it's not Dad's fault.
