The issue with the attorney is that a price for representation was quoted that was significantly lower than the contract sent for signing. No documents would have been sent - and no work done by the attorney - if the attorney had quoted the higher figure.
It sure sounds deceptive to me, whether the deception was intentional or not.
walker2 was very careful not to exceed the “free” portion of the call, even asking about the cost of representation during this free portion of the call.
Perhaps the response to the attorney contract could have been handled differently by walker2 but his reaction does not seem unreasonable, especially after receiving a bill.
