EVEN IF THEY ARE telling prospective employers that you were fired, THAT IS NOT ILLEGAL ANYWHERE IN THE US.

What part of, nothing illegal has transpired, are you failing to understand?

Oh for heaven's sake!
  1. Your termination was legal.
  2. The supervisor's termination was legal.
  3. Your former employer is not legally required to re-hire you just because it decided to fire the supervisor.
  4. Just because your former employer is stating that you're re-hireable does not mean that it is legally required to re-hire you.
  5. Your former employer is legally allowed to say anything it wants about you as long as it is true or it believes it to be true.
In other words, it's over. You have no legal recourse.
