What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Colorado
If someone was given a 4 year sentence to community corrections (halfway house) on a F5, has served 7 months in the halfway house and decided the halfway house program wasnt for them and took it back to court to get sentenced to Dept of Corrections. In Colorado, what is the approximate time they would serve before being parolled? This is a non-violent crime, a theft case where all the restitution has already been paid back. I've heard different stories where because of the prison over-crowding they can be paroled in as little as 4 months, others say 50% of the time left on the sentence. Do you know which facility they would serve their time? Some say LaVista Correctional if non-violent. Attorney was a public defender and isn't much help.
