How does private adoption via an attorney differ from state sponsored adoptions? In Iowa one has to take foster care classes, then adoption classes in order to get a state sponsored adoption.
This is in addition to a homestudy.

How does an adoption through an attorney work? Do attorneys have access to birthmoms?
