What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Mississippi

I just wanted to make sure I can still get a regular identification card (not a drivers license) while the police still have my drivers license. I need an ID because I'm getting a second job to help pay for my attorney and anyone that works knows that most employers need a copy of your identification for employment.

The government (state) issued ID is available even if your license is suspended, as they are required now in order to travel. Incidentally, if you have a US passport, that would suffice for your employment purposes.
