What is the name of your state? California

What will happen if the amount of the transfer tax on a grant deed is wrong? Will it invalidate the grant deed even though the seller has signed, the signature has been notarized and the deed has been recorded? Can the seller say ten years later that since the amount of the transfer tax is wrong (even though the buyer was the one who paid the full amount of the transfer tax), he will not honor the sale?
