My husband's dad passed away 42 years ago, his mother passed away 2 years ago. Their are 10 siblings, when dad passed away, he left the siblings with some property. One of the heirs bought two siblings shares out, and had it quick claimed to her. Now the other siblings have decided to sale this property, the heir that bought two shares says no. She thinks just because she bought two more shares, she says that she can pick and choose where their property lies, which is adjoining her and would take up almost all of the road frontage. This property cannot be sub-divided fairly, so they have decided to sale. So what can be done, outside of going to court, about this heir not signing to sale, and can she pick and choose where she wants her portion to lie?
