What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Nebraska
Just looking for Nebraska law on how much of someone's paycheck can be legally garnished. My friend's check is already being garnished for child support and an old hospital bill. There is another hospital bill that they want to garnish for. The amounts being garnished now leave him barely enough to pay his bills. How much garnishment is too much? I know they can take 25% of his net income, but can they keep doing that until there is nothing left?
