What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? MN

Is there a way to verify military service records? We had a hearing before a magistrate. Father is requesting a reduction in child support due to unemployment. He stated under oath that he is an Army veteran, with 135 days of service (or whatever days the minimum is to be considered a vet?) and having some PTSD issues that are making it hard for him to find a job. Rumor around town is that he was kicked out of boot camp for smoking pot. Other medical records he submitted to court show he told a counselor he had 4 years of service. How can I verify his dates of service and if he was honorably or dishonorably discharged?

But dont expect to get all his records and copies of this either. You may just get an official memo stating and verifying the information.

Those records are confidential and are super protected especially his military medical records.

Be nice and you will be helped to the best of their ability.
