what do you believe a loss of consortium claim is about?

ask your divorce attorney about the community property share of the loss of earnings portion of the settlement? How do you know your husband's settlement even includes loss of earnings? you would need a breakdown of the settlement.

I believe LOC is considered any service or function provided by the spouse under normal circumstances including but not limited to sex, household chores, yard work like taking out the trash and mowing the lawn etc...
Am I incorrect?
Should I call the insurance company that settled with him on my own first?

My husband has told me that 13,000 is the lost wages portion of the claim. After all, I did support him financially during his injury while we were still together.
