There actually is much conflict between my daughter and myself. But I do think her issues with his anger are quite legitimate.

Don't bother. It's really not going to cure anger management issues.


I think there is more to the conflict between SD and OP's daughter. I am not disputing dad may be having anger issues, however, I question the wisdom of allowing a teenager to control the way your marriage works.
I don't think it's a matter of a teenager controlling the way the marriage works. It's more a matter of a parent being willing to stand up and say "anger and abuse is not appropriate in our home".

I am not walking out on this marriage or on my daughter.

I am standing up and saying the Anger is not welcome in this home - hence why he is getting the help that is needed.

This is not just for my daughter, but for our son as well. He has his first appointment tomorrow.

He has recognized that he needs help and is seeking it.
