What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? CA

My husband was denied SSI/Social security because he does not have enough credits and I make too much in income. He does not have an income. If we separate will he then be eligible? What about divorce and he lives at his mothers house? Will he be eligible at least for SSI and Medi-Cal?

Thank you

What about your joint assets?

The month after you separate (actually live in separate residences) your income will not be deemed available to him but any money you give him will be counted as income.

How will he pay rent?
