I suppose I shouldn't have cut/pasted that information directly from the ssa.gov website. I didn't pretend to know what I was talking about on this subject. I went to the source, and provided the information that I found, including a link to a booklet/pamphlet on the subject.

You two don't know about VA disability benefits.

Which two? SSI is affected because it is means tested. $80,000 is far more than the limits.

SSDI (SSD) is unaffected as Moburkes put it, but Blondie claimed it would.
