What is the name of your state? connecticut
My best friend was in an accident a couple of years ago and hit a pedestrian. The pedestiran was issued a ticket because he crossed the street where there wasnt a crosswalk. He was severly injured . At the time my friend did not have auto insurance and she is now being sued by the insurance company of the man she hit for his medical bills. She doesnt know what to do or if she should even try to fight this in court. What kind of advice can I give her? What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state?

Your friend needs a lawyer, but the accident was not her fault so she should not be responsible for his medical bills, unless she was also cited for something that you didn't mention.
