My 17 yo daughter was arrested for DUI in Hamilton county a year ago. She has spent 3 weeks in HCJDC and was treated for alcoholism in an inpatient facility for 35 days. She has been doing much better, in school and working, but relapsed one night recently, drank, and was arrested. Her probation officer had her taken in to the HCJDC today when she went for her last appointment. What are her chances in getting time, and does she have the possibility of house arrest? What would you advise at this point? She is in a recovery high school, attending AA meetings, and motivated to stay off the alcohol at this point.

Not a true statement, accoding to what you wrote a few sentences earlier. She needs an attorney.
