What is the name of your state? PA

I just got notice of a motion to reinstate appeal. I have never seen such BS, but then what do you expect. Apparently, I am to blame for him not showing up and his lawyer to blame for some paperwork failure. It has a date for court by his new lawyer. What does this mean? Do I have to file a paper in response? Do I have to go to court that day or will I be formally summoned?
