Negligent driving??... need help/information plz

i was involve in an accident.. sleep while driving... I got a 980$ dollar ticket for... no proof of insurance at the time.. but i do have insurance.. and officer charged me of negligent driving?.. what is negligent driving?.. stupidity?... i am not sure.. but i really want to fight this ticket.. i do nuting wrong?.. can someone help me on this case.. or have a attorney or lawyer in the washington area to help me..

Are you saying that you went to sleep while driving and caused an accident? If this is the case then this is where you are negligent.

yea i feel alseep.. i guess i was wrong?... but i would like to fight this ticket i dont want it on my record... is it bad? negligent 2nd degree?...
any help would be appreciate...
