I was wondering if anyone knew what my next step is in my civil litigation?
I have:

-Filed the complaint
-Served Summons
-Filed Service of Summons
-Filed Motion for Default Judgment (Denied)
-Defendant answered with: Response to Plaintiff's Motion for Default Judgment
-I answered with Plaintiff's Response in Opposition to Defendants Motion for Default

Is the next step waiting for the Judge to rule on my response? Or do I schedule a pretrial hearing now? And am I supposed to meet with the defendant before the pretrial hearing? Thanks
